Some bright ideas come from the first site visit. In urban expansion area Oostkouter in Deinze, Belgium, everyone is having their own party. The result is a hotchpotch. The quality of the plot was in the generous size and the light. The bright idea that came to us was this: when you have bushes separating the premises and a beautiful enclosed garden, you do not want to build a house there. Our solution was living in a bush. A Profilit glass box was placed in the bush with a greenhouse as a roof. We are having our own little party: a private home that responds to the seasons. It opens up when the days shorten and shuts when the heat needs to be kept out.
